As one of the regional import and export trade events with international influence in the field of domestic textile, clothing, and light industrial products, this year's China International Fair for Trade and Industry (CIFTIS) has delivered an impressive performance with 3325 domestic and foreign exhibitors, 46450 global buyers attending, and an intention order amount of 2.195 billion US dollars, presenting a wonderful answer to the high-quality development of foreign trade.
In the current trend of anti-globalization, innovation has become the core confidence for China's foreign trade to break through. This year's China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) focuses on the main theme of high-quality development of foreign trade, actively benchmarks new requirements for trade transformation and upgrading, fully integrates "technological excellence" and "innovation concentration," and outlines a clear path for China's manufacturing transformation and upgrading. It is reported that brand enterprises account for 20% of this year's CIFTIS; the proportion of patent enterprises is 19.5%, an increase of 4.3 percentage points; the proportion of enterprises using new materials and processes is 8.6%, an increase of 2 percentage points; and 59 specialized, refined, and innovative enterprises also made their debut, with a growth rate of 13.46%.
In terms of new technologies, a large number of advanced application achievements integrating artificial intelligence technology, Internet of Things technology, 3D printing technology, electrolytic water hydrogen production technology, agricultural information technology, and other advanced technologies emerged at this year's China International Fair, such as AI magic mirrors, hydrogen oxygen machines, G20 plant protection drones, 3D printing slippers, etc. In terms of new materials, the widespread application of new materials such as X-TEX fabric, new plant-based dyed fabrics, RPET recycled materials, soft and highly elastic solid cotton, graphene materials, etc., has taken the environmental attributes and functional performance of exhibits to a new level. In terms of new processes, the emergence of temperature-controlled layered pouring process, activated carbon and sub-nano fiber blending process, EVA integrated molding process, and other new processes reflects that foreign trade enterprises are improving their product core and reshaping their competitive confidence through innovative and iterative production processes. In terms of new consumption, exhibits that embrace new consumer demands such as the "pet economy," "emotional economy," "sports economy," and "sleep economy" are appearing intensively. From "meeting basic needs" to "understanding your needs," Chinese manufacturing is accelerating its value transition.
In order to facilitate precise transactions between supply and demand sides, this year's China International Fair for Trade and Industry has invited 14 procurement groups and 1154 high-quality buyers to attend, a year-on-year increase of 6.16%. Seven procurement matchmaking events were held on site, with a total of 845 rounds of matchmaking negotiations. More than 6.7 million US dollars in intended orders were reached, and the supply and demand sides conducted in-depth face-to-face consultations based on the exhibition platform. The cooperation intention continued to accumulate and strengthen through efficient matchmaking. Among them, the heat of the European and American special matchmaking event is high, with nearly a hundred buyers and exhibitors conducting in-depth negotiations and matchmaking, reaching an intention order of 6.445 million US dollars; The newly expanded Japan South Korea special event has achieved much better results than expected, successfully facilitating 19 buyers and 82 exhibitors to reach cooperation intentions, conducting a total of 93 rounds of docking negotiations, and realizing an intention order of 150000 US dollars; A total of 317 rounds of efficient communication were held at the clothing, apparel, and decorative gift matchmaking event, resulting in an intended transaction amount of 196000 US dollars, highlighting the effectiveness of the matchmaking; The Southeast Asian docking event continues the high popularity of the previous session, successfully facilitating negotiations between 25 buyers and 86 exhibitors, with a total of 107 rounds of docking negotiations, confirming the strong willingness of participating companies to explore emerging markets such as Southeast Asia.
