The 4th China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo (Chain Expo) Korean Promotion Conference was held in Seoul, South Korea on the 27th.
The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Representative Office in South Korea made a special presentation on the 4th Chain Expo, with over 600 representatives from South Korea and other APEC economies, business associations, and enterprises, including Liang Qinxi, Deputy Governor of Gyeongsangbuk do, and Hong Zhangpei, Director of the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Corporation Research Institute.
Xu Ziqiang, Chief Representative of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade in South Korea, stated that currently, the global industrial and supply chain pattern is undergoing profound adjustments, and building a stable, smooth, and efficient industrial and supply chain cooperation system has become a common demand of the global business community, including China and South Korea. Enterprises from China and South Korea have their own advantages and strong complementarity in fields such as digital economy, artificial intelligence, and new energy, with enormous potential for cooperation. The Chain Expo is an important platform for enterprises to strengthen resource sharing and technological cooperation.
Representatives from the South Korean business community stated that South Korea's successful hosting of the 2025 APEC Business Leaders' Summit has received strong support from China, and they look forward to the upcoming 4th Chain Expo and 2026 APEC Business Leaders' Summit next year. I hope to take this as an opportunity to leverage the complementary economic advantages of South Korea and China, and continuously deepen industrial and supply chain cooperation.
