This marks the smooth operation of the first fully scheduled China Europe freight train (Xi'an Budapest), and Xi'an has become the first city in China to achieve the normalization of three fully scheduled China Europe freight train routes, forming a weekly "six trips and three trips" operating pattern.

As the third fully scheduled bus route in Xi'an after Duisburg and Prague, this route implements a "five fixed" public transportation operation of fixed-point, fixed line, timed, priced, and scheduled train numbers. Budapest, as an important logistics distribution center in Central and Eastern Europe, not only serves bilateral trade between China and Hungary, but also radiates to neighboring countries such as Slovakia, Austria, and Serbia. It has achieved the integration of operation schedules for the Chinese section, wide gauge section, and European section, effectively controlling the operating time of each link of the China Europe freight train, thereby improving transportation efficiency and reducing costs and increasing efficiency for import and export enterprises. The newly launched China Europe freight train (Xi'an Budapest) will operate normally once a week starting from November 22nd. It departs from Xi'an International Port Station at 23:00 every Saturday and exits through the Alashankou Port in Xinjiang, passing through Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and other countries. It is expected to arrive in Budapest, Hungary in 10 days and 23 hours, which is about 30% more efficient than regular trains.

The exploration of the China Europe freight train in Xi'an has formed a mature system in the field of the entire timetable. The first line to Duisburg will be opened in October 2022, and the normalization of "two trips and one return" will be achieved in 2023.
