In addition to the cooperation projects already implemented by Australia and Saudi Arabia, the consortium has gathered core cooperation institutions from 8 countries, covering the Americas, Australia, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Central Asia, and has established a basic framework for overseas cooperation in traditional Chinese medicine international service trade.
The partners signed this time have their own resource endowments and industry accumulation, and will build bridges and support points for the "going global" of traditional Chinese medicine from multiple dimensions.
It is understood that the strategic cooperation between the Promotion Center and the Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Innovation Research Center will focus on the integration of core technical resources such as screening of active ingredients in traditional Chinese medicine, formulation of quality standards, and research and development of new formulations, accelerating the international transformation and promotion of traditional Chinese medicine achievements.

The Center will adhere to the principle of "openness and inclusiveness" to promote pragmatically, and implement a number of landmark achievements as soon as possible, so that local innovation achievements can be "sustained" and international services of traditional Chinese medicine can "go further".
Director Nie Aiguo of the Shanghai Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine attended the unveiling ceremony and delivered a speech. He affirmed the long-term deep cultivation of the Promotion Center in the field of traditional Chinese medicine service trade, and believed that this signing covers the entire chain of "research and development transformation internationalization". He hoped that the consortium would become an "incubator" for traditional Chinese medicine innovation and an "accelerator" for development. He emphasized the need to gather global advantageous resources, promote mutual recognition of standards, deepen industrial cooperation, and share development achievements, so that traditional Chinese medicine services can benefit more people in countries and contribute Eastern wisdom to global public health governance.
