Created on 11.12
On the evening of November 9th, a B737-800BCF all cargo aircraft operated by Thai Airways successfully arrived in Ordos from Bangkok, Thailand, marking the official opening of the first all cargo scheduled route at Ordos International Airport.
The first flight achieved a total import and export cargo volume of about 28 tons, of which the imported goods mainly include tropical fresh produce such as Thai pomelo and coconut green, totaling about 16 tons; The export goods are mainly general trade goods, with a total of about 12 tons. Under the on-site supervision of Ordos Customs officers, this batch of imported fresh products quickly completed customs clearance procedures and were immediately transported to the market for sale. At the same time, the exported goods also complete the regulatory procedures here and fly overseas.
This batch of imported fruits has extremely high requirements for customs clearance time. Erdos Customs has contacted us in advance to guide us in handling customs clearance procedures. After the goods arrive at the port, they are quickly inspected and released, ensuring the freshness of the products to the greatest extent possible, "said Ye Changhua, the person in charge of Hunan Changrun Supply Chain Co., Ltd. on site.
It is reported that the freight route plans to operate three flights per week, with an average import and export cargo volume of about 30 tons per flight. The imported goods mainly include fruits, chilled aquatic products, and edible aquatic animals from Thailand and Southeast Asia, while the exported goods mainly include machinery and equipment, electronic products, daily necessities, etc.
The opening of this route not only effectively meets the domestic market's demand for high-quality agricultural products, but also provides an efficient channel for regional specialty products to enter the international market. Through the multimodal transport mode of "full cargo aircraft+belly cargo+cold chain", Ordos International Airport precisely fits the development trend of "small batch, multi frequency, and high timeliness" in aviation logistics, and relies on value-added services such as cold chain logistics to provide strong support for the stable operation of the industrial chain and supply chain.
