On November 11th, the 3rd Hangzhou Micro Drama Conference with the theme of "Audiovisual Trending Empowers Thousands of Businesses and Flowers, Leading Thousands of Sails to the Sea" opened in Linping District, Hangzhou.

As one of the most influential annual events in the field of micro dramas in China, this conference brings together government and enterprise representatives, experts, scholars, and industry pioneers from across the country to conduct in-depth exchanges on core issues such as the creation of high-quality micro dramas, technological empowerment, and global layout, injecting strong momentum into the cross-border empowerment and overseas breakthrough of the micro drama industry.

Since the 14th Five Year Plan, micro dramas have rapidly grown into a new growth pole in the field of online audiovisual with the advantages of "short, fast, and refined" dissemination. A batch of high-quality works continue to emerge, promoting the development of micro dramas from emerging formats to important forms of popular literature and art.

On site, the Department of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism of Zhejiang Province released a recommended list of "micro dramas+AIGC", showcasing the innovative practice of integrating "Poetry and Painting Zhejiang" with digital technology, and outlining a new landscape of technology empowered content.

Facing the future, we should continue to deepen the research and integration of key technologies and scenarios, and promote the intelligent transformation and upgrading of the entire chain of micro dramas from creation to going global. Chen Rufu, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, expressed in his speech that he hopes that enterprises will fully utilize intelligent analysis, algorithm promotion and other technologies to accurately grasp overseas market demand, build international operation platforms and channels, and enable Zhejiang micro dramas to demonstrate lasting vitality and cultural appeal on global platforms.

The key to refinement lies in the script and talent. In order to motivate creativity and cultivate talent, the conference announced the award-winning works of the second "Universiade Coming" National Network Micro Short Drama Script Creation Competition, as well as honors such as "Quality Content Creation Enterprise" and "Outstanding Contribution Award". The third season of the "Youth Network Screenplay Incentive Support Plan" was launched simultaneously, further consolidating the talent foundation.

In addition, Linping District has joined hands with several leading platforms and enterprises to officially launch the "Ancient and Modern Canal" film and television boutique creation plan, committed to jointly building a full chain empowerment system of "writing shooting investment broadcasting evaluation", and promoting the cultivation of a group of benchmark enterprises and works that combine ideological, artistic, and market-oriented elements.

The relevant person in charge of Linping District stated that Linping will soon introduce the "New Three Types" cultural policy, providing comprehensive support for high-quality projects, with a maximum subsidy of up to tens of millions of yuan for a single project.
