A fully loaded A330 all cargo plane took off from Huahu International Airport in Ezhou, Hubei, the first professional cargo airport in Asia, at 21:58 on October 2 and flew to Zaragoza, Spain.

This is the first regular cargo route directly to Spain from Ezhou Huahu International Airport, and also the 109th cargo route opened by the airport. This route is operated by Malta Galis Airlines and is expected to operate 2 to 3 flights per week after normalization, gradually increasing in frequency.

It is reported that there are 62 tons of domestically produced international fashion brand shoes and clothing products on board, which have been declared for consolidation in Ezhou and quickly inspected by customs before being shipped to Spain for distribution. The main category of goods is light textile products such as shoes and clothing. This is the first time that the brand of goods has chartered a plane to transport its products in Hubei, promoting the strengthening of industrial linkage between Hubei and European light textile industries.

Data shows that from January to September this year, Ezhou Huahu International Airport opened 24 new cargo routes, including 18 international cargo routes, 4 domestic cargo routes, and 2 low altitude cargo routes. In the first nine months of this year, the airport completed a cargo and mail throughput of over 1.08 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 58%; Among them, the international cargo and mail throughput exceeded 360000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 138%.
