On July 10th, the 31st China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair, which lasted for 5 days, came to a successful conclusion.

The grand event yielded fruitful results. A total of 1181 contract projects were signed at this year's Lanzhou International Fair, with a total signing amount of 650.082 billion yuan, an increase of 7.64% compared to the previous session, setting a new historical high.

Open cooperation takes a new step forward

The 3rd Gansu Province International Friendly City Industry Promotion and Economic and Trade Cooperation Matchmaking Event was packed and the atmosphere was warm. More than 200 guests from 21 countries and provinces, including Mongolia, Afghanistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Spain, Malaysia, Belarus, etc., attended the grand event with sincerity for cooperation and expectations for development;

At the "China (Gansu) - Indonesia Business Matchmaking Event", nearly 100 guests and entrepreneurs, including the Indonesian delegation, business representatives, and relevant enterprises from Gansu Province, gathered together to further deepen local cooperation and exchanges between China and Indonesia, and to seek cooperation in multiple fields;

This year's Lanzhou International Fair was attended by governments, business associations, and international organizations from 50 countries (regions) around the world, 28 provinces (regions, cities), 3 key cities, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan regions in China, as well as more than 4000 enterprises, with over 40000 attendees.

Indonesia was invited as the guest of honor to jointly build 9 provincial and ministerial officials and 4 ambassadors to China from the "the Belt and Road" countries to attend the conference, hold 17 international economic and trade activities including the opening ceremony of the guest of honor country, and build a broader platform for Gansu to integrate into the "the Belt and Road" construction and improve the level of opening up.

During the Lanzhou International Fair, the theme exhibition "Three Centers and One Highland - Serving National Strategy and Empowering Hong Kong's Future" hosted by the Beijing Office of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government made a brilliant appearance, vividly presenting the development of Hong Kong and deepening cooperation and exchanges in various fields between the two regions.

The "Green China · Investment in Gansu" investment theme event, using "green" as a medium and "cooperation" as a bridge, attracted representatives from more than 20 Fortune 500 and industry leaders such as Saudi International Power, Total Energy, Air Products, Hitachi, etc.

The National Taiwan Enterprise Federation's Promotion Activity for High Quality Development in Gansu Province comprehensively introduced the investment attraction, cultural and tourism industries, and advantageous agricultural development in our province. In the 2025 Gansu Province Central Enterprise Integration Development Symposium, our province signed 51 industrial projects with central enterprises, with a planned total investment of 76.695 billion yuan;

At the technology investment promotion and achievement transformation docking exchange meeting, enterprises such as Baiyin Group and Gansu Yasheng Seed Industry Group released 13 technical requirements in the fields of non-ferrous metallurgy and agricultural new variety breeding, covering 30 major projects in multiple fields such as new energy, new materials, low altitude economy, and biomedicine;

In the 2025 "Sweet Taste" characteristic agricultural product production and sales docking and "Long Supply Optimal Selection" online platform promotion activity, 138 purchasers including China Agricultural Group, Taotian Group, JD Group, and Xiaohongshu signed purchase and sales contracts worth 670 million yuan with agricultural product supply enterprises in our province's supply and marketing cooperative system;

Focusing on building a modern industrial system, this year's Lanzhou International Fair actively undertakes the transfer of industries from the eastern and central regions, focusing on precise projects, precise chains, and precise implementation. It carefully organizes 14 key investment promotion activities, including the central enterprise and Gansu integration development docking and negotiation activities, new energy and new energy equipment industry investment and development docking activities, and well-known entrepreneurs in the Yangtze River Delta Long Shang activities, aiming to carry out precise investment promotion docking in the direction of industrial development in our province.

In just 5 days, there were frequent good news: 131 investment promotion contract projects were signed on-site in Lanzhou, with a total signing amount of 109.379 billion yuan; Jinchang City has signed 85 projects with a total investment of 45.55 billion yuan; A total of 159 contract projects were signed on-site in Pingliang City, with a total signed amount of 43.3 billion yuan

During the Lanzhou International Fair, various cities and prefectures in our province seized the opportunity and carried out various forms of promotion and negotiation activities. The project mainly involves key areas such as new energy and equipment manufacturing, specialty agricultural products and food processing, new materials, petrochemicals, data information, biomedicine, cultural tourism, etc. Among them, the proportion of major investment projects and projects of the "Three Top 500" enterprises has significantly increased, injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of the province.

Data shows that among the projects signed at this year's Lanzhou International Fair, there are a total of 374 projects worth over 500 million yuan, with a signing amount of 543.7 billion yuan, accounting for 83.6% of the total signing amount. 124 investment projects from the "Three Top 500" enterprises were introduced, with a signed amount of 139.1 billion yuan, accounting for 21.4% of the total signed amount, an increase of 25.7% compared to last year.

At this year's Lanzhou International Fair, Gansu not only gained a heavy number of signed projects, but also valuable cooperative relationships, cutting-edge development concepts, and firm confidence in the future.

This year's Lanzhou International Fair has a total of 4 exhibition areas with an exhibition area of 54000 square meters, attracting nearly 2000 exhibitors from 24 countries, 18 provinces, municipalities, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, bringing nearly 40 categories and tens of thousands of exhibits.
