On June 11th, it was announced that Coupang's full container warehousing service will soon be launched. After the launch of Full Container Load (FCL) service, merchants can directly transport FCL goods from Korean ports to Coupang logistics center, achieving comprehensive optimization in cost, timeliness, and practicality.

It is reported that in the traditional mode, before merchants transport goods from Korean ports to Coupang logistics center, they generally need to transfer to overseas warehouses through self selected third-party logistics companies for palletizing, labeling, and delivery (i.e. delivering to Coupang logistics center), which means there are corresponding cost expenditures. Under the FCL (Full Container Load) service model, full containers are directly delivered to the Coupang logistics center, saving costs such as unloading fees, palletizing fees, potential storage fees, and truck transportation fees.
This service has an advantage for large volume and concentrated weight goods, such as wardrobes, mattresses, air fryers, bags and other categories, and can fully leverage the scale transportation advantages of FCL (Full Container Load) service.
It is worth noting that currently Coupang can only accept full containers without palletizing for storage. If the merchant adopts Less than Container Load (LCL), they still need to palletize on the pallets of Korean pallet rental companies (KPP/AJU).
