The 2026 Smart Robot City Space Application Scenario Conference was held in Chengdu High-tech Zone on the 23rd, marking the official launch of the construction of the first robot trading center in western China.

According to the "Construction Plan for the Robot Trading Center" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan") released on the same day, the center aims to build a first-class robot trading center nationwide. Through the innovative model of "trading index + ecological platform", relying on the multiple advantages of Chengdu High-tech Zone in talent technology, platform carriers, and application scenarios, it will establish a hub for the innovative development of the robot industry, promoting the large-scale application of artificial intelligence and robot technology from the industrial side to urban spaces.

As the first robot trading center in the western region, the plan outlines three core development directions: building a diversified industrial space carrier that balances public experience and enterprise services, promoting the deep integration of technology with life and industry; constructing a full-process industry empowerment system that covers the entire chain from technology implementation to market expansion, providing comprehensive support for enterprise development; establishing industry data reference benchmarks, publishing the annual multi-dimensional Chengdu High-tech Robot Trading Index globally, and striving to gradually build a "wind vane" and "barometer" for the robot industry nationwide and even globally.

It is understood that the first robot trading center in the western region will be established at two locations in Chengdu High-tech Zone: Jiaozi Avenue and "Zhuge Space". One location will leverage urban landmarks to bridge the gap between high-precision and cutting-edge products and mass consumers, allowing C-end users to immersively experience the charm of technological gadgets and becoming a destination for immersive smart living experiences. The other location will feature a professional B-end trading complex, relying on the scenic resources of the "Xinchuanzhixin Robot Park" and the industrial carrier of "Zhuge Space", to provide a one-stop solution for complex needs such as enterprise trading procurement, operation and maintenance technology transformation, and overseas expansion.

Currently, Chengdu High-tech Zone has formed an artificial intelligence industry cluster with a scale of nearly 100 billion yuan, boasting a full industrial chain foundation of "research and development - manufacturing - integration - application" built by over 50 key robot-related enterprises.
