Gansu-Hong Kong Investment Cooperation Promotion Exchange Conference and the Establishment Ceremony of Hong Kong Gansu Chamber of Commerce were held in Hong Kong

On March 26, the Gansu-Hong Kong Investment Cooperation Promotion and Exchange Conference and the unveiling ceremony of the Hong Kong Gansu Chamber of Commerce were held in Hong Kong.

At the cooperation promotion and exchange meeting, relevant units and enterprises in Gansu and Hong Kong signed a total of 13 investment projects with a total contract value of 3.633 billion yuan, covering a number of fields such as energy and electricity, agriculture, culture and tourism.

Wang Bing, Vice Governor of Gansu Province, attended the event and delivered a speech. He pointed out that Hong Kong has become the largest source of foreign investment in Gansu and has been ranked first in Gansu Province in terms of actual foreign investment utilization for many consecutive years. The purpose of carrying out investment cooperation promotion and exchange in Hong Kong this time is to uphold the good cooperation in the past and push the exchange and cooperation between the two places to a new field and a new height.

In his video speech, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region John Lee said that although Hong Kong and Gansu have different economic development models and geographical environments, the two places will have broader space for cooperation in industrial development, culture, art, tourism and other fields in the future.

At the event, institutions such as Gansu Agricultural Reclamation Group Co., Ltd., Gansu Electric Power Investment Group Co., Ltd., Gansu Cultural Tourism Industry Group Co., Ltd., Jinchuan Group Co., Ltd., as well as Lanzhou, Jinchang, Tianshui, Zhangye and Dunhuang introduced key industries and investment projects to the guests, helping Hong Kong businessmen to further understand Gansu's resource advantages, business environment and development potential.

Subsequently, the Hong Kong Gansu Chamber of Commerce held an unveiling ceremony and the inauguration ceremony of the first board of directors.
